Searching High and Low

In an effort to expand the possibility of snowkiting in the northwest, the USSnowKite team has spent the past weeks deep in: maps, google earth, powder, forecasts, gear, and dashboard time looking for any and all information leading to the identification and Send-ification of new snowkiting spots here in the Oregon and Washington!

Eureka! We found it! All within 45 min of Hood River. Hospital Hill, Jims place, The Lumbar Yard (aka: Honey), and Dalles Mt. Got to ride at every day this week! More info on http://www.ussnowkite.com/ in a few days.

Teamed up with photographer Gregg Gnecco, we explored the wind scoured upper rim of the Colombia river gorge, and brought home some hope for fellow NW kiters looking to check out the possibility of snowkiting.

Here are a sample of the goods-

Check back soon as the USSnowKite team heads to Bend, OR.
Its sure to be a hell of a week with mountain guide "Action Dizzler Crowe"

Nice job you guys. I've heared of snowkiting in the NW refered to as "virtually non-existant." Looks like you're turning it around. Now I'll have a place to go when I come home. Thanks.
